Even though there is no hierarchy, inevitably the group will naturally develop a dynamic structure; when everyone in the team recognises the job roles that need covering they tend to adapt and take-on certain responsibilities when they feel confident to do so.   The ‘leader’ is better defined as a ‘co-ordinator’, somebody who is well organised and empowers others within the team to work well together.
