Answer to following question:
How can other organisations help the STAR group?
When you identify what you have within your team (personal attributes, skills, experiences etc) and when you identify the material resources you have, you can then draw up a ‘wish-list’ of what you need. This can then be shared with individuals and establishments within your community and further afield. Things such as: free training in a variety of subjects that your team may need, help with recruiting more volunteers, help with marketing once you are ready to open the doors, sign-posting and making referrals to your service, help with giving your group a free space/venue to run it’s sessions, help with buying consumables, help with material items such as tables, chairs, cushions, crockery, etc.
